Domestic Water Heating

LaZer2 solar hot water systems are scalable solutions that can be sized for any level of domestic hot water demand in any type of environment.

The design principle is almost always the same; the LaZer2 solar thermal system acts as the primary heat source; a boiler, immersion heater or heat pump will then automatically raise the water temperature further if required.

An optimum sized LaZer2 solar water heating system should be able to provide between 50% and 70% of the annual domestic hot water demand. In many cases 100% of the hot water requirement will be met during the summer months, During the middle of winter the system will typically provide 20%-30% of the hot water demand.

A typical solar hot water system will comprise of four key components: solar collectors, differential controller, circulation module and hot water cylinder. The specification, location and method of installing the parts will vary depending on the particular application.
